How can therapy help me?
Therapy can help you along the path of better understanding yourself and the issues you have been facing. It can provide a supportive space for learning to manage life stressors, improve relationships, and reach your personal goals.
What is therapy like?
During your first few appointments, your therapist will gather information about your presenting concerns and background history. You and your therapist will then design a treatment plan that best fits your unique needs. Ongoing sessions will focus on working towards your goals at a pace that feels comfortable to you and focuses on building greater awareness, skills, and personal growth.
Does what I share in therapy remain confidential?
Yes, what you share with your therapist remains private. Exceptions to this are when there is a risk of harm and your therapist needs to disclose information to ensure everyone’s safety. Additionally, certain information will be disclosed to your health insurance. You will be provided a copy of our privacy policy in your initial paperwork.
How long are appointments?
Therapy appointments are typically 55 minutes.
How often will I have appointments?
