Helping guide people on their path to wellness is more than a job to me, it’s my passion. I work with adults and teens who are navigating life’s challenges, such as depression, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional, I’m especially passionate about supporting people as they navigate their parenthood journeys– from considering starting a family, through pregnancy, the transition to parenthood, and beyond. I also offer support for those who have experienced reproductive challenges, trauma, and loss.
I believe therapy works best when we work together and tailor it to your needs. I bring my expertise as a clinical psychologist, but you are the expert on your own life. Therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach, so we’ll collaborate to ensure you get the most out of our sessions. We’ll work together to gain insight into your life experiences and the root causes of what you’re going through. While gaining a deeper understanding of your coping and relationship patterns, we’ll also build practical skills to improve your overall well-being and help you nurture a stronger sense of self.
I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in the state of Illinois. I earned my Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Additionally, I have completed specialized training and certification in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International. Prior to establishing Path to Wellness Psychological Services, I gained valuable experience in various settings, including outpatient private practice, community mental health centers, integrated healthcare and inpatient settings, and residential programs.
